Get ready to dive into the enchanting world of Ummeed, an independent artist who is making waves in the music industry with his latest release, "WAQT." With heartfelt lyrics, mesmerizing melodies, and a unique musical approach, Ummeed's music is sure to captivate your soul.

Ummeed, whose real name is Ashutosh, is a 21-year-old artist hailing from Rohtak, Haryana. His musical journey began in 2013 when he dedicated himself to the art of producing music. Despite facing personal challenges and health issues, Ummeed found solace in his bedroom studio, where he honed his skills and created magical melodies.

"WAQT" is a single that takes you on a profound journey through life's ups and downs. Ummeed beautifully expresses how people come and go, leaving their mark before disappearing, highlighting the temporary nature of relationships. The lyrics also remind us that the only person who remains true to us is ourselves. Through his hand-crafted lyrics, Ummeed shares his own experiences and emotions, inviting listeners to reflect on their own journeys.

The musical approach to "WAQT" was a labor of love for Ummeed. Starting with minimal lights and an empty mind in his studio, he began playing chords and voicings over Dminor. As the songwriting progressed, Ummeed recorded the catchy 'Flute Intro,' played by his friend Kinshuk. However, the most memorable part of the song, the bridge, was still missing. It was during a serene moment on the Versova beach in Mumbai that Ummeed found inspiration for the bridge's lyrics. Returning to his piano, he composed the melody and completed the song's production.

Ummeed's music encompasses a wide range of genres, including pop, R&B, experimental pop, indie rock, and indie pop. Influenced by artists like A.R. Rahman, John Mayer, Charlie Puth, Sonu Nigam, Charanjit Ahuja, and Arijit Singh, Ummeed's sound is a fusion of diverse musical styles, resulting in a truly unique and captivating experience.

With the release of "WAQT," Ummeed is ready to take center stage and share his story with the world. His journey from being a bullied child to a talented musician is an inspiration to all. His music not only showcases his creativity but also serves as a source of hope and empowerment for listeners.

In addition to his solo work, Ummeed has also scored music for a short film called "The Unowned House," which garnered recognition and awards at various film festivals, including the International Cultural Artifact Film Festival and Cannes World Film Festival.

Ummeed's favorite quote, "Ye Waqt hai, Guzar Jayega!" (This too shall pass!), perfectly encapsulates his outlook on life and music. Through his words and melodies, Ummeed reminds us that time is fleeting and we must embrace every moment with love and creativity.

So, join Ummeed on his musical journey, immerse yourself in the enchanting melodies of "WAQT," and let his music fill your heart with hope and inspiration. The universe is waiting for you to discover the magic of Ummeed.
