1. What inspired you to become an artist?

Massiv: I have been a dancer since I was 5 years old, and as I grew up I realized I was born to perform and entertain. I started focusing on my passion and turned into a profession.

2. How did you come up with the name Massiv. ?

Massiv: So basically my artist name is “Moombahton Massiv” Moombahton is the genre I play and produce and in the early days I was introduced to reggae music and I started listening to reggae alot. Massiv: Whine it up is a fiery moombahton banger with powerful vocals and a catchy drop. Bouncy percussion and horns aplenty mark this record as a spitfire track, tbh it’s built for the dancefloor.

4. How did you come across Richie Loop?

Massiv: So in 2017 I released a remix for Richie Loops' track “Move Like”, which really amazed him, and we decided to collaborate on an original track. In 2019 I made this Idea of “Whine it up” and sent him across, and he started composing the track.

And finally we released it in 2022, after alot of experiments and hustle.

I started listening to alot of his music and in a few years, he became my Idol. It’s my dream to be on his record label “OWSLA” I even have a tattoo of it.

8. What is it about being an artist that you love the most?

Massiv: The best thing about being an artist is freedom to play and perform anything that I love. I really love to experiment with new fresh sounds in my productions. Also, music has taken me places which I never imagined of.
