Tell Me Something - The Fortune


The Fortune is back to put you in a playful mood with their new single “Tell Me Something.” The South Indian duo, consisting of pianist/composer Dhananj Shivganesh and sound engineer/producer Nikhil Pradeep, will surely get you grooving with this funky pop record. After working with Guatemalan singer Lucia Valdes on their previous track, the Fortune now has Shawn O'Donnell from West Chester, Pennsylvania, US to help with vocals for 'Tell me Something'. The band seeks to create music that will connect and inspire people worldwide. The talented duo aims to push the envelope with their sound to make a well-rounded, dynamic style that will differentiate them in crowded music scene.

The music video features two youngsters who are constantly cheering each other up after certain situations bring either of them down. It's a beautiful portrayal of how we're social beings and that we always need someone to lean on. If you have one good friend, sometimes that's all you'll ever need. The video also inspires us to see how some days, its good to just let go, and groove to the music. The quirky beats in the song go perfectly with the childish, jolly moves by Akhil Joshy and Chakki Malavika. "Tell Me Something" takes the listener on a musical journey where The Fortune showcases their artistic

versatility infusing a nostalgic funk style with a modern pop vibe.



The band continues to put story-telling at the forefront of their music. Lyrics have been written by Alisha Johnson and South Africa's Greg Van Kerkhof. The Fortune maintains
